What a forensic audit is
A forensic audit is one document set submitted for review, for example a sequence of operations, an FPT script or an IST script together with its supporting datasheets. Each audit returns a findings report with source references for engineer review.
Turnaround, not queue position
A proper review takes time. CxCheck reads the full document set, cross-references it against the standards library and your project record and checks each finding back to its source, which is a different exercise from an instant chatbot answer. The times stated on each tier are commitments on when your findings report is returned, not a place in a queue, and that time is what makes the output worth putting in front of an engineer.
Pricing questions
What counts as one forensic audit?
One document set submitted for review counts as one audit. A sequence of operations, an FPT script or an IST script submitted together with its supporting datasheets is a single audit, however many files that set contains.
What happens if I go over my monthly audit allowance?
Nothing stops. Additional audits are charged at your tier rate, $8 each on Solo, $6 each on Practice and $4 each on Project, and appear on your next invoice. If you are consistently over, moving up a tier is usually cheaper.
Can I change tier mid subscription?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period so you keep the allowance you have already paid for.
What is the difference between the hosted tiers and a Dedicated Node?
On the hosted tiers your documents are analysed on hardware we own and control, isolated per organization. With a Dedicated Node the machine is supplied pre-configured, installed inside your own facility and operated on your network, so documents are stored and analysed on your own hardware.
Do you offer per project pricing rather than monthly?
Yes, for defined commissioning engagements. We scope the audit volume and duration of the project and quote a fixed fee for that term. Contact sales with the project scope and programme dates.
